The Baltimore Bird Club will be taking a weekend trip to Cape May, NJ! Participants can expect to see a variety of raptors, passerines, shorebirds, and more! Butterflies will also be plentiful at this time of year and Monarch migration will be starting up. The trip will be led by two former Cape May Hawk Watch Naturalists who know the area well. Exact trip locations will be determined as the date gets closer. You are responsible for your own transportation, lodging, and meals. It is recommended that participants arrive in Cape May on Fri., 9/29 so that they are ready to meet the leaders at sunrise on Sat. 9/30. Birding activities will be scheduled from sunrise to 5 pm on Saturday (9/30) and from sunrise to noon on Sunday (10/1). RSVP is required, and this trip will have a maximum of 12 participants with a first come, first serve policy.
