Description:
The grassland bird trip returns! From your vehicle we will explore northwestern Carroll County in the hopes of spotting various Sparrow species, Horned Larks, Dickcissels, and Meadowlarks. But expect to see Raptors, Thrushes, Woodpeckers and perhaps an Oriole or two. The trip will start at the Mount Airy park and ride on Rt 27 at 8am. For those interested we can stop in Taneytown for lunch, then wind our way back to Mount Airy. The trip should end between 2-3pm.
