Meet at Fisherman’s Park, Conowingo Dam. Look for the BBC table display. These trips are designed to encourage the appreciation of birds and bird habitat conservation to minors through mentorship and education. They will change monthly and may include youth-oriented education programs, youth birding trips, crafts, games, and so on. This month’s topic is “Conowingo Eagles”- if you have never been to Conowingo Dam to see the eagles, you are in for a treat. Hundreds of eagles roost during the winter months since the dam provides an abundance of resources for the eagles to survive on during cold days. It is always a fun day as you never know what show the eagles will give us, along with the many other species of birds that hang around, too. Time may change; check with the leader for latest information.
