Claudia Wilds Fund

The fund is named for the distinguished club member and author of the ground-breaking “Finding Birds in the National Capital Area,” first published in 1983. The fund was begun with contributions at her death in 1997 and has since been used to augment the Montgomery Bird Club’s regular income for promoting local understanding of birds and the need for habitat protection.
