Open to convention registrants only Situated on a peninsula jutting into Prospect Bay, the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center (known to most in MOS as “The Horsehead Center”) offers pinewoods birds including Pine Warbler and Brown-headed Nuthatch, salt marsh birds including Seaside Sparrow, herons and egrets, waterfowl, gulls and terns, Osprey, and Bald Eagle. Difficulty: Flat trails with occasional wet & rough spots. Salt marsh mosquitoes & ticks. Facilities: Yes, indoor toilets.
