Join us for a chance to see woodcocks performing their flight displays as they enter breeding season. Though generally secretive and elusive birds, they have been reliable here during late winter in recent years, and this is probably the easiest spot to see them. You don’t even need to leave your car – but you should for the full experience! Displays usually begin ~30 minutes after sunset (6:02 PM on 3/3) and usually occur in conjunction with clear skies, minimal wind, and temperatures above freezing. The trip will be canceled if these conditions are not met.
