Fall Bird Count: Taylor’s Island, Dorchester County

There will be overnight lodging provided near the location for participating birders. The trip is open to anyone, and you can come for all of it or part time.

Host: Frontiers in Ornithology Description: Regional Youth Birding Workshop with Field Trips. Youth must pre-register for this at www.frontiers-in-ornithology.org. Meet youth birders from the Mid Atlantic. Overnight lodging and field trips Sunday also available. Youth must be aged 13 –22 to attend.

We’ll carpool from both the Eastern and Western Shores and spend the day in Cape May during the peak of raptor migration. We’ll also search for late songbird migrants and visit the Avalon Seawatch. We usually find 100+ species.
