Description:
This peaceful lake in Howard County is a great place to view midwinter birds. This will be a leisurely handicap accessible walk, 8-11 am. This 2 mile loop is 98% blacktop with a few small compacted leafy areas and a few very slightly inclined areas. We will enjoy finding many winter birds including a variety of Woodpeckers, Waterfowl, Sparrows, Hawks and maybe even a Brown Creeper. The parking lot is accessible as well.
