MOS CONVENTION T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

For this convention, a T-shirt design will be selected and participants may purchase on-line.

    • Entrants must be members of MOS.
    • The border or overall shape of the proposed design shall be clearly indicated. Overall size needs to fit on the front of a t-shirt. The back of the t-shirt will have the convention pin design.
    • Each submission must be a photograph of the artwork itself. All designs should be in color.
    • The entrant’s name, address, chapter affiliation, phone number and e-mail address must be included with each submission. Entrants may not use others’ work or material copyrighted by others. Entries must not contain any vulgar or profane language or images.
    • An Entrant may submit more than one design. There is no fee to submit a design. By submitting a design, entrants agree to all contest rules. By entering the contest, entrants agree that if their design wins it becomes the property of MOS, which has the right to use the design to promote the convention and for other MOS promotional and historical uses.
    • The winner will receive a t-shirt for a personal portfolio.
    • The winner shall not announce or mention the results of the contest until he/she is officially announced in the MD Yellowthroat, at the convention, or on the convention website.

    The contest coordinator works closely with the t-shirt company to ensure that the final design is an accurate representation of the winning entry. Decisions regarding the company’s draft design are made by the contest coordinator. On rare occasions the company may want us to ask the winning entrant for permission to make minor changes in the design to accommodate the manufacturing process. If the entrant is unwilling to make these minor accommodations, we will select another design.

    Judging: Judging will be by a panel of MOS members.
